Initially, creating a campaign can feel overwhelming, especially when you struggle to translate your ideas into a concise brief. Fortunately, we've compiled a comprehensive guide to mastering campaign creation on SHOUT. All it takes is to get started!
Start a Campaign:
No matter what brand you represent, your first step in SHOUT campaign creation involves creating a campaign. This campaign essentially serves as your brand’s mission statement. It informs creators about your objectives, the products or services you wish to promote. For instance, let’s consider we wanted UGC for our app; we would create a campaign called “Promote the SHOUT app”. Set your timeframe for how long you want the campaign to run for and add campaign managers to help manage the workload.
Develop a Brief:
After establishing the campaign’s groundwork, it’s time to dive into specifics. Having understood the campaign’s focus—our new app in this example—creators now need detailed expectations. For example, we’d be looking for a video showing off our app, so we’d call it “A video showcasing the SHOUT app.” Here, you can choose between three content categories you want creators to make:
- Social Content: Material created by the influencer for exclusive use on your social media platforms, not the creator’s personal channels.
- Ad Content: Videos tailored for advertising, including a 2 year license.
- TikTok/Reels Video Content: This option grants you downloadable content for your social platforms, a 2 year ad license in addition to creators posting on their own profiles.
The Nitty Gritty:
On the brief add captions, hashtags, video length, creator region, and content style (e.g., “day-in-the-life” or “get ready with me”). Being as specific as possible ups your odds in getting the content you’re dreaming of.
Review & Confirm:
After crafting your campaign and detailed brief, browse our creator list to identify potential matches and invite them to apply. Alternatively, you can await applications. Once you’ve funded your wallet, you can hire creators and oversee content submissions. If any submissions require adjustments, you can directly communicate with creators via our chat function. You have unlimited revisions so you can be sure to get the best results possible.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered:
Finally, once your happy with the content, you can hit approve. Once the creator posts the video, they will be compensated and you can freely distribute your content as desired. If you opt for TikTok video content, a spark code will be provided. If you opt for a Reel, the creator will upload the link and you will have access to post statistics.
